Vision Bridge – championing innovation, fighting sight loss and connecting professionals and patients with assistive technology.

Vision Bridge is an independent community interest company (CIC). We are passionate about promoting eye research from basic discovery science to assistive technology and shining a spotlight on the remarkable progress being made to prevent sight loss, treat eye disease, restore sight and rehabilitate patients.

VisionBridge  is delighted to join the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland. This underlines our commitment to supporting greater independence, mobility, connectivity and emotional well-being for the visually impaired and those with visual processing and other associated sensory challenges across the UK. We advocate for eye research and champion innovation. In collaboration with Sight and Sound Technology we continue to widen patient access to appropriate assistive technologies (AT) by delivering online interactive learning to patients, eye health and healthcare professionals and the voluntary sector, demonstrating how AT can improve opportunities and the quality of life for those in need. All online sessions are free of charge. For more details on how to participate, please contact julian@visionbridge.org.uk.
