Francesca is a Senior Development Officer in the Children, Young People and Health and Social Care Integration Programme.
She works predominantly on delivering the outcomes of the Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) programme, as well as contributing to the work of the Integration Support Team. She is committed to ensuring that the third sector is recognised and valued in health and social care integration, particularly its role in supporting children, families, and carers.
Francesca has a research background, having completed a PhD in anthropology, during which she explored the intersection of children’s food, education and health care policy in the early years. She is passionate about using her knowledge and skills to help improve policy and practice, particularly to address matters related to food poverty, childcare policy, and gender inequality.
