The ALISS adopts a transparent approach to the work it undertakes.

The ALISS team believes the data in ALISS should be openly available and shared. To achieve this, we offer an open API (Application Programming Interface). This allows us to work with many different systems and partners, such as NHS Inform Scotland’s Service Directory and the Glasgow Community Food Network.

Additionally, the code for the ALISS system is available on GitHub, which enables developers to build on the technical work of the programme to date.  The code can be reused, subject to a Creative Commons licence.
