Our engagement team can support communities and organisations with finding and sharing information to support health and wellbeing.

The ALISS engagement team works with organisations and communities across Scotland to understand how ALISS can support them to achieve their aims of finding and sharing information to support health and wellbeing.

ALISS is based on collaboration and participation, and so works best when people get involved. We work with a range of local and national partners across Scotland, including community groups and associations, third sector organisations, and statutory agencies, as well as individual citizens and professionals. ALISS enables people to work together to make information more widely available and easily findable through a variety of channels while also reducing both the duplication of information and effort that is often involved in developing and maintaining directories and databases.

ALISS engagement activities and tools include:

  • Community roadshows and workshops
  • Training for prospective ALISS editors
  • Toolkits and resources
  • Networking and learning events

If you are interested in working with ALISS in any of these ways or would like to discuss other ideas, we would love to hear from you.  You can directly contact our engagement team, Angela and Cameron, or get in touch by emailing hello@aliss.org (this link will take you away from our website) or phoning 0141 404 0239.
