Stills from the three videos with logos of each organisation.

The following short films showcase different uses of video consultation technologies by three Scottish charities.

  • Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Scotland (SBHS) have developed an app to support individuals and families. Integrated within the app is a video consultation service. This allows them to deliver support remotely to families across Scotland.
  • Rape Crisis Grampian (RCG) have introduced a video consultation service which allows some of their support workers to see people remotely. Therefore, staff have cut down travel and people can access their services from a safe space of their choosing.
  • Revive MS Support have created an online consultation service called ARMSS (Access Revive MS Support). As a result, people living with MS can access their trusted services from the comfort of their own homes, reducing their need to travel.

At the moment, we are carrying out user research into the use of video conferencing (VC) technologies. We want to find out how third sector organisations are using VC to deliver health and social care services digitally in response to COVID-19. Fill in our survey here (this link will take you away from our website).
