The ALLIANCE worked with mPower, NHS Ayrshire and Arran, libraries and Integration Authorities across North, East and South Ayrshire.\u00a0 The project ran between November 2021 and May 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The project vision was to support people to improve their wellbeing, or that of their community. We wanted to help prevent people becoming ill by enabling them to access early support in a way that suits them. We also wanted to address inequalities around access to services and healthcare outcomes. We aimed to do this by helping people understand how to use digital to manage their health and wellbeing.<\/p>\n<p>By digital, we mean:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>devices, such as phones, laptops and computers<\/li>\n<li>websites, apps and other online tools<\/li>\n<li>online NHS or social care services and support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We trialed digital health and wellbeing information and support services through local partnerships. These trial services were provided in Kilwinning Library, Girvan Library and various locations in East Ayrshire.<\/p>\n<p>These services supported people to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>develop digital skills<\/li>\n<li>know where to access relevant health and wellbeing information<\/li>\n<li>become more confident in their self management<\/li>\n<li>access digital health and social care services and support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The mPower Legacy Project produced a number of documents, including a final report.\u00a0 These are available below.
