It\u00a0was initially meant to enable people to \u2018replay\u2019 the advice from their GP consultations and also allow them to receive links to online information relevant to their health. People could:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>make recordings summarising the advice from their GP consultation and save these for playback as audio (or with the audio \u2018converted\u2019 into text for reading)<\/li>\n<li>receive and save weblinks to relevant and trusted online health information and local support services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Further to the feedback we have received, the recording feature was parked.\u00a0As announced in our latest updated,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20211129090151\/https:\/\/www.alliance-scotland.org.uk\/blog\/news\/people-powered-gp-digital-solutions-move-forward\/\">People-powered GP digital solutions move forward<\/a>, Advice and Information was passed on to NHS24 for further consideration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Advice and Information tool (referred to as \u2018PocketGP\u2019 in the Online Codesign phase) was one of three concepts proposed through the\u00a0Our GP\u00a0project.
