The programme will offer a series of co-designed opportunities for the public to share their views and experiences relating to primary care.

The  ALLIANCE is leading a programme to give the people of Scotland the opportunity to contribute to the development of primary care services now and influence what they will look like in the future. This programme will empower people accessing primary care services to be involved as active and equal partners to inform and contribute to the ongoing design of primary care.

This programme, funded by the Scottish Government, will focus on:

  • General Practice: GPs and the multidisciplinary team
  • Community pharmacies
  • Dentists
  • Optometrists

The ALLIANCE will work in partnership with our membership and other organisations to ensure that we reach as many people and communities as possible. Through engagement opportunities, feedback and information will be collated and shared with the Scottish Government and other interested parties to actively inform how services are delivered in the future.

COVID-19 has had an impact on how we contact, interact with, and use primary care services. From these experiences, we can help support how we develop and improve services now and in the future.

We are all invested in our health and wellbeing and future. As we move forward, we are interested in working with you to hear your experiences, individually and collectively, and how we can support and inform our services of the future.
