The programme aims to raise awareness of ongoing developments in the children\u2019s policy agenda in Scotland, and specifically matters that have an impact on disabled children and young people\u2019s lives, those living with long term conditions, and their families and carers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of our key areas of remit is to deliver the outcomes of our Getting It Right For Every Child (GIRFEC) programme. Please visit the GIRFEC Training page\u00a0<\/a>on our website for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other work that the programme is involved in includes, but is not limited to: the United Nations Convention on Rights of the Child (UNCRC) Incorporation Bill (Scotland), impact of the of National Care Service (NCS) on children\u2019s services, transitions to adulthood, child protection, childhood poverty, and childcare policy. We are always looking for opportunities to collaborate with others on these and other relevant matters.
