The ALLIANCE is looking for people to share their opinions and experiences to improve future Audiology services provided across Scotland.

In January 2022 the Scottish Government announced that a National Review of hospital based Audiology Services would be carried out. Part of this review would include giving the public the  opportunity to share what their experiences have been accessing services and what they think services should look like in the future.

The ALLIANCE has been commissioned to engage with the people of Scotland to capture their experiences. This includes parents of young children, young people and adults who have accessed audiology services as well as professionals from health, social care and education. We want to hear what is working well, what could be improved and what they think services should look like in the future.

There are three ways to get involved:

  1. Complete one of the online surveys (BSL versions available) – NOW CLOSED
  2. Join one of our virtual focus groups
  3. Sharing your experience by email or letter

The ALLIANCE will publish a report based on the findings which will be shared with the National Audiology Review team. By sharing your experiences and your views, you will be helping shape audiology services of the future.
