Making a Difference at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow

Type: Pledge

11 sessions, many pledges and a whole lot of people.

Big thanks to our great friend Geraldine Marsh, Associate Chief Nurse  for South Sector NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Michelle Blomerus and colleagues at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow for inviting Tommy to give a series of 11 sessions over June, July and August.

The sessions have been a chance to share our project, make a difference campaign, key message from Chief Nursing Officer for Scotland, Fiona McQueen and wider project work.

We are grateful for the brilliant turnout over the sessions and inspired by the remarkable people we met. Geraldine was one of the first people, many years ago to invite Tommy to speak with staff at the old Southern General Hospital, so it was wonderful to return to work with great friends.

We have more sessions arranged with Geraldine, including 3 sessions with Junior Doctors with thanks to Dr Caroline Whitton and Dr Joseph Sarvesvaran for the kind invites over September and October.

Thank you to all at NHSGGC for the wonderful opportunity kindness, commitment, pledges and care.
