We bring together the expertise of people with lived experiences, communities, third sector and professionals to inform our policy work.
The ALLIANCE’s Policy team supports our members’ voices to influence a wide range of policy areas including social care and Self-directed Support, human rights, fair funding for the third sector and social security. We:
- organise lived experience engagement processes, including through surveys and events, to feed into public consultations from the Scottish Government and other relevant bodies,
- collaborate with other organisations on areas of shared interest, including supporting members’ joint campaigns
- engage with Ministers and MSPs to make recommendations for change based on our members’ priorities
