{"id":947,"date":"2023-03-09T17:54:28","date_gmt":"2023-03-09T17:54:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.alliance-scotland.org.uk\/policy-and-research\/?page_id=947"},"modified":"2023-03-09T17:54:29","modified_gmt":"2023-03-09T17:54:29","slug":"accessing-social-support-for-long-covid","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.alliance-scotland.org.uk\/policy-and-research\/research\/accessing-social-support-for-long-covid\/","title":{"rendered":"Accessing social support for Long Covid"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In June 2022, the ALLIANCE and CHSS published a&nbsp;new research project, carried out by Dr Emma Miller, into people\u2019s experiences accessing social support for Long Covid in Scotland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project aimed to build understanding of the life circumstances of people with Long Covid in Scotland, as well as their experiences of accessing social support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In January 2022, the ALLIANCE and CHSS published a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.alliance-scotland.org.uk\/blog\/news\/call-for-participants-accessing-social-support-for-long-covid\/\">call for participants<\/a>&nbsp;to participate in the research. The research draws on the experiences of 32 people, shared through 22 individual interviews and three focus groups.
