The aim of the week is to bring people together and to share learning across the Self Management Network Scotland, the Self Management Fund projects and the wider ALLIANCE membership.\u202f<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the Week, the ALLIANCE hosts and promotes a series of online and in-person events across Scotland, alongside publicity which showcases examples of good practice. We also encourage and support organisations to host their own events. Participation is free, inclusive and open to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the Self Management Awards?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The aim of the Awards is to highlight some of the very best practice being demonstrated across Scotland, raise the profile of Self Management, and share learning across the Self Management&nbsp;Network&nbsp;Scotland, Self Management Fund projects and wider ALLIANCE membership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a growing membership of over 3,500 organisations, associates, disabled people, people living with long term conditions and unpaid carers, there will be opportunities to hear from, network, and engage with many different stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Self Management Awards 2025 Ceremony was held in central Edinburgh on Wednesday 24 September.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Award categories<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Self Management in the Community<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self Management Resource<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self Management Digital Innovator<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Audrey Birt Self Management Champion<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Empowering Self Management Project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sensory Loss: Positive Self Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Self Management through the Arts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Find out more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alliance-scotland.org.uk\/self-management\/our-work\/self-management-awareness\/self-management-awards\/\">Self Management Awards.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Each year, the ALLIANCE hosts a range of events to celebrate self management across Scotland annually, including a range of events, ALLIANCE Live activity and the Self Management Awards.
