Digital Digest: Digital Health and Social Care Monthly Bulletin Wednesday 4 June 2025
“Hello and welcome to new Digital Digest from the Digital Health and Social Care Team at the ALLIANCE. We are pleased to be providing information and updates to you in a fresh new monthly format. We hope you find this useful.
All of the work of the ALLIANCE is underpinned by human rights, and I would draw your particular attention to the review we are currently carrying out of the Digital Human Rights Principles, which were initially produced in 2021 with Scottish Care and VoX Scotland. You can register for our review workshop on 24 June to help shape the future of these principles which will influence all of our digital work over the coming years.
2025 is shaping up as a big year for digital, with the year kicking off with the First Minister’s announcement of the launch of the Digital Front Door (also known as the ‘health and social care app’) in Lanarkshire in December. The ALLIANCE’s Digital Citizen Panel, plays a key role in this and other national digital programmes. To find out more about joining the panel, email dhcscot@alliance-scotland.org.uk.”
Our conversation Café – Bring a Buddy is hosted online, on the first Wednesday of every month. We are taking these cafes on the road - if you're able to host us - anywhere in Scotland - please get in touch!
ALISS and our Digital Network Officer (Digital Citizen Panel) will be at the Byres Hub Community Day on Saturday 7 June 2025, come along to say hi and grab some goodies from our stall!
Weekday WOW Factor (WOW) are specialists in improving lives by keeping people active, connected, independent and safe within their own homes and communities.
