Every Tuesday the Discover Digital team at the ALLIANCE shares a free and trusted digital tool that supports health and wellbeing.

The aim of #TryAToolTuesday is to raise awareness of free and trusted apps and resources to help people improve and manage their health and wellbeing.

It has been launched across ALLIANCE X (formerly Twitter), Facebook and LinkedIn.

This May we shared four different apps, tools and resources. Why not check them out?

  • Digital health passport: a health diary app where you can keep track of your asthma or allergy, access your care or emergency plan and view local air quality, pollution and weather alerts to help you prepare for your day. Access here.
  • Mind app library: in collaboration with ORCHA (Organisation for the Review of Care and Health Apps), Mind have recommended apps that are safe and effective to help you with several areas of mental health. Access here.
  • By My Side: provides information to prevent drug-related harm, support for mental health, sexual health and those affected by domestic or sexual violence. Access here.
  • The Cancer app: an app which features information specific to twelve different cancer types. Access here.

Tried one of these tools? Give us a shout on X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, LinkedIn or email at dhcscot@alliance-scotland.co.uk with your thoughts. We’d love to hear from you.
