Carers of West Dunbartonshire were awarded £9,970 in June 2025 to run their project for 12 months
A 12 month project to deliver a programme of workshops for carers with their own Long Term Conditions focussed on their own support needs and self management. Workshops are assumed to be delivered fortnightly, in person in various locations across West Dunbartonshire, and contain a combination of exercise, relaxation and educational workshop.
Learning will be gained from the challenges of delivering across a wide geography, the ways in which carers use the space, the topics that appear most impactful, the degree to which the structure is successful in reaching Carers at an early stage of their Long Term Conditions, and through the deepening understanding of the challenges faced by carers with Long Term Conditions.
