Trellis Scotland were awarded £14,663 in June 2025 to run their project for 12 months

A 12 month project working alongside participants to build a new therapeutic gardening space in the grounds of the Harbours Medical Practice. Targeted at people with mild to moderate depression, participants will create a programme of gardening and nature activities to be carried out.

Learning will be gained from the degree to which activity is shown to impact self management, whether there are patterns that can be identified where the activity is shown to be beneficial, and the experience of working closely with a GPs practice as the location of the activity.
