Join us for a webinar in our women's health series, on post-menopausal health and healthy aging across the life course.

This webinar is part of our Winter programme of events on women’s health – see here for the full women’s health event programme delivered in partnership with the Scottish Government’s Women’s Health Plan team: https://www.alliance-scotland.org.uk/blog/news/alliance-womens-health-winter-events-programme/

This session will discuss common health experiences for women later in life, and how actions taken now can ensure we have happy healthy lives as we age.

The purpose of the session is to both raise awareness of health experiences post-menopause, and provide tips and advice on how we can all support our long-term health whatever age we are.

This session will explore key milestones in many women’s lives and how to navigate these with a view to healthy aging, while also focusing on common experiences for older women such as bone health and heart health. For more information see NHS Inform: Later years | NHS inform

We will be joined by a panel of expert speakers, including Professor Anna Glasier, Scotland’s Women’s Health Champion and Dr Beckie Howie, NHS Lanarkshire.

[2] The Women’s Health Plan and the ALLIANCE’s programme uses the term ‘women/woman’ but it is important to highlight that it is not only those who identify as women who require access to women’s health and reproductive services. All healthcare services should be respectful and responsive to individual needs.
