Age Scotland were awarded £120,000 in June 2025 to run their project for 36 months
Working alongside various networks, fora and ethnic minority community member groups, and supported by a lived experience panel, this 36 month project aims to co-produce a portfolio of tools, resources and training that directly address the needs of people from ethnic minority communities (namely South Asian, Chinese, African Caribbean and Polish communities) living with dementia.
Learning will be gained from a deepening understanding of the barriers which exist for these communities, the ways in which materials and content will have to adapt to meet the differing needs of each community, the impact of the different materials created, and the experience of working in partnership across a broad range of partners.
