Mairsinn were awarded £15,000 in June 2025 to run their project for 12 months
A 12 month project seeking to develop online peer support groups for survivors of Childhood Sexual Abuse who are waiting to access mental health services or unable to access these services. With the support of a lived experience steering group the project hopes to engage with members around the design and structure of the groups, exploring policies and risks within the first half of the year before piloting delivery.
Learning would be gained from the needs identified by people through engagement, the experience of engaging a lived experience panel in discussions around policy and risk, the ways in which the virtual space is used during the pilot, and ultimately whether the service can demonstrate impact on wellbeing.
