Perth Autism Support were awarded £14,573 in June 2025 to run their project for 12 months
A 12 month project to develop and deliver a programme of peer led support for parents with autism consisting of peer group work, 1:1 peer mentoring and tailored resources. The project will also develop a specific training programme for autistic parents who wish to become mentors.
Learning will be gained through understanding the needs of parents with Autism, gaps in resources and support, whether group work or 1:1 support is most beneficial and through themes in challenges and issues raised by autistic parents through the support
