The Adelphe Community Outreach were awarded £15,000 in June 2025 to run their project for 12 months
A 12 month project operating across Fife, Edinburgh and Livingston to provide practical support, peer group sessions and workshops aimed at supporting ethnic minority families navigating long-term conditions, mental health issues, disabilities, and unpaid caregiving roles.
Learning will be gained through a deepening understanding of the challenges faced by ethnic minority families with LTCs, the practicalities of managing a volunteer team providing practical support, as well as the impact of the differing aspects of support on wellbeing and self management.
