Take part if you are an older person with Visual Impairment, a carer, or health and medical professional

The University of Strathclyde is undertaking research into improving medication management for older adults with Visual Impairment through development of a co-designed assessment tool.

Who can participate?

  • Older people with a Visual Impairment
  • Formal or informal carers
  • Health and medical professionals.

What does participation involve?

  • One co-design meeting (in person or online)
  • A short online survey
  • Trying out early versions of the assessment tool.

Participants can choose to take part in any or all of the activities. The total time commitment for full participation is approximately 8 hours over the study period.

What are the benefits?

By taking part, participants will:

  • Contribute to designing a tool to assess the medication management needs of older adults with Visual Impairment
  • Help ensure that the tool aligns with real-world healthcare needs and accessibility requirements
  • Participants will receive a £20 voucher for each hour up to 8 hours they take part in study activities.
