The Digital Hub launched the new revised digital principles yesterday at their DiGiTal Get Together 2025 event
The ALLIANCE has been working in collaboration with Vox Scotland and Scottish Care since 2021, trying to embed a human rights based approach into practice across digital health and social care.
In 2025, the ALLIANCE engaged and reviewed our existing principles due to the continued pace, growth and diversity of digital innovations, technologies, and digital health and social care services.
As a result, we listened to what people told us and, and as well as reshaping the principles we have also shared examples of good practice in action and a guide offering support in how to design, deliver and evaluate right based digital services
For those that would like to learn more about the revised principles, we have an online workshop ‘How human rights and digital can flourish together in Scotland` on Tuesday 11th November, 10:30am-12pm, for more information email dhcscot@alliance-scotland.org.uk
