Dundee City Pipe Band & Youth Music Initiative SCIO

They are an inclusive Pipe Band; their membership comprises mixed ages and abilities.

Their charitable and social purposes are:

• To promote Scottish culture and heritage through the playing of Highland Bagpipes and Drums
• To provide recreational activities which promote enhanced health and wellbeing.

The band offers music tuition, group practice and person centred programmes of skills development including volunteering opportunities, training and mentorship. They also work to develop a community of shared interest which includes individuals of all ages and backgrounds working together for the common good – whilst truly feeling the sense of unity that comes with being a member of a pipe band and its wider community
