Highland Community Care Forum

Connecting Carers is part of the Charity Highland Community Care Forum (HCCF) which has been in existence since 1983.

HCCF is made up of two services: Connecting Carers and Connecting Young Carers.

Today Connecting Carers is the local Carer Centre for Highland, delivering carer services on behalf of NHS Highland and Highland Council.

Our Vision is:  A better life for unpaid carers in Highland
Our Mission is: To connect carers to the support they need for a better life

Connecting Carers will ensure Carers’ voices are heard:

• With respect and compassion
• Through inclusion
• Through promoting choice and opportunity
• By contributing to their local community, and
• To ensure all Young Carers are seen, heard and supported
