HSTAR Scotland SCIO where every female survivor of trauma and abuse is heard, healed, and empowered.
Since August 2020, we have proudly followed our mission to create a welcoming and inclusive healing environment for women in the Forth Valley, helping them rebuild their lives after experiencing trauma and abuse. We offer trauma-informed, person-centred, accessible, multilingual, and non-judgmental services that respect diverse cultures and meet their individual healing needs.
At HSTAR Scotland SCIO, our purpose is to help women rebuild their lives after experiencing trauma and abuse. We provide trauma-sensitive, person-centred support to female survivors across Scotland, with a special focus on the Forth Valley. We understand that each woman’s needs are unique, and our services are designed to meet these diverse requirements through a multicultural and multilingual approach.
Our key objectives include:
Facilitating Recovery: We focus on strengthening trust, resilience, and empowerment to help women recover from abuse, trauma, and anxiety.
Flexible Support: Our therapy services are available on an individual basis, both face-to-face and online, to accommodate each woman’s schedule and needs.
Multicultural and Intersectional Approach: We offer personalised support in various community languages, ensuring our services are inclusive and accessible to minority cultural groups.
Promoting Best Practices: We strive to set the standard in women’s mental health and wellbeing within our local community.
Trauma-Informed Care: We deliver non-judgemental, person-centred support tailored to the unique healing journey of each individual.
At the heart of our mission is a commitment to respect, compassion, and cultural sensitivity. We offer bilingual services and a range of counselling methods to ensure that every woman receives the care she needs to thrive.
