Rolling STARt will provide a 9 week cycling skills and behaviour change module developed in partnership with Glasgow University.

    The objectives will include the following ;
    1. Provision of a person centred aspirational programme supporting positive physical and mental health and reduction of loneliness and isolation.
    2. Engage referrers in recruitment of individuals to the programme.
    3. Procure fleet of bicycles (inc adapted bikes) and storage in partnership with Cycling Scotland’s Cycle Access fund and / or Rock up and Ride Programme. (Individuals may have access to bike ownership at end of programme.)
    4. Develop peer support model – an important aspect of the programme.
    5. Provision of ongoing Facilitators support via Whatsapp messaging groups.
    6. Address financial barriers and health inequalities.
    7. Facilitate ownership and self management of positive health outcomes and continuing networking opportunities.
    7. Facilitate led rides utilising active traffic free corridors in the locale and beyond.
