they help organisations that commission and supply technologies such as telehealth, telecare, and telemedicine as well as digital health services including self-care apps, health IT, mHealth, eHealth, smart home technologies, artificial intelligence and internet of things.
they do this by driving up standards, influencing national policy, advising on the commissioning landscape, identifying tender opportunities, providing guidance around TEC procurement, sharing good practice, offering training and organising learning events.
