Celebrating People in Perth and Kinross
From February 2023 to March 2024, the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE), in collaboration with the Perth and Kinross Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP), delivered around 75 learning and development sessions based on the principles of the ‘What Matters to You?’ (WMTY) movement. These sessions reached almost 1,500 individuals across the three localities within Perth and Kinross.
Our new publication evidences the transformational impact of adopting a person-centred approach across various organisations and settings, highlighting best practices and learnings. We have compiled 10 success stories from across Perth and Kinross to promote cross-sectoral partnerships and provide a blueprint for embedding compassion, active listening, Intelligent Kindness, and the WMTY approach into practice.
In the wake of the post-COVID era, Perth and Kinross HSCP recognised the importance of sustaining support for their workforce. With a vision to foster motivation and express gratitude, the HSCP in partnership with the ALLIANCE and Tommy Whitelaw, National Lead, Person Centred Voices embarked on a journey to put individuals at the heart of health and social care.
We invite you to explore our publication to learn more about these impactful stories and the ongoing efforts to embed person-centred care throughout Perth and Kinross.
