Amy White

Amy works as a Senior Sensory Hub Officer with the Scottish Sensory Hub (Deafness).

A former Senior Audiologist in the NHS working with both children and adults, Amy is passionate about sensory care across the lifespan. She has a keen interest in nurture and attachment as a vehicle for improving attainment and her previous roles include communication support for deaf children in mainstream education. 

Amy’s interests also include sensory loss and brain health having undertaken research on promoting human rights and social justice in care homes for older people through improving sensory care and inclusive communication.
