Walk Moray awarded Dementia Friendly accreditation

Walks available for people living with dementia, their family and carers
Paths for All(this link will take you away from our website) have awarded walking project Walk Moray(this link will take you away from our website) their Dementia Friendly Walk accreditation for their walks in Elgin, Fochabers and Burghead. These are for anyone living with dementia, and their carers to remain connected to their community.
The Walk Moray project delivers health walks across Moray every week and is managed by Health and Social Care Moray.
With the help of a network of fantastic volunteers, Walk Moray runs a variety of low-level, friendly health walks. Whether you would like to meet new people in your area, or get more active, they are always looking for new people to join in their walks.
The project also supports fortnightly health walks in Elgin and Forres for Make Autism Visible clients.
Some of their walk leaders have attended additional training including: Disability Inclusion, Strength and Balance and Dementia Friendly Walking.
