#TryAToolTuesday raises awareness of free and trusted apps and resources that help people improve and manage their health and wellbeing.

Welcome to #TryAToolTuesday.

In celebration of the ALLIANCE’s 20th anniversary, we are excited to share five different apps, tools and resources this month.

  • The Cancer app – is an app that provides information specific to 23 different cancer types. It allows you to store all your information in one place such as medication, appointments and contacts. Access here.
  • AVA – is a chatbot that will provide you with general information about arthritis and how to manage your symptoms. Access here.
  • Daylight – is an app and a website that provides a structured programme based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy techniques. It is free and is aimed at supporting those who are struggling with anxiety and worry. Access here.
  • Human Rights Town – is an app designed to empower people with learning disabilities to recognise and realise their human rights. Access here.
  • TellMi – is an app that provides a safe space to connect with people of your age to discuss anything on your mind. Access here.

Tried one of these tools? Comment on this post or email at dhcscot@alliance-scotland.co.uk with your thoughts. We’d love to hear from you!
