As part of the ALLIANCE response to the National Care Service Consultation we're running a new Opinion Series – The Future of Social Care.
A future National Care Service – and the Scottish Government’s proposals for what this will include – is likely to bring about significant change within Scotland’s health and social care sectors. The ALLIANCE recognises that our members have expert knowledge and experience to contribute. We want to share a range of diverse voices at this crucial moment for social care, as the Scottish Government carries out its consultation on a new National Care Service.
The aim of the Future of Social Care opinion piece series is to hear about ALLIANCE members’ priorities, ambitions and goals for the future of social care in Scotland. We also hope to create a body of work that collectively provokes discussion, shares innovative thinking, and highlights the issues at the heart of social care.
From now until the end of the consultation period we will be sharing views from a diverse selection of our members on key areas that the Scottish Government is consulting on. Through this time, the Future of Social Care will feature on our website, across our social media channels with the hashtag #FutureofSocialCare, in our bulletins, and will form part of our submission to the Scottish Government.
