Researchers at University of Glasgow are recruiting participants for a photo-based project about experiences of terminal illness.

The photo-based project will look at terminal illness, and financial challenges that can arise in this difficult time.

They are looking for relatives, friends or carers who have been bereaved in the last two years, and believe financial considerations were an important factor in their loved one’s end of life experience. We are looking to create digital stories (Two-minute photo montage and voice-over) about the challenges of living with a terminal illness for campaigning and educational purposes.

They aim to use the findings of the study to bring about positive changes in palliative care policy, education and practice. For more information please contact Dr Sam Quinn: Sam.Quinn@Glasgow.ac.uk

An example of one of the digital stories can be viewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eEfRnbsqOEY&t=1s (this link will take you away from the ALLIANCE website)
