Long Covid Kids
Through the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, long-term impacts of infection collectively known as “Long Covid” have become an ever-increasing challenge. In this interview, the ALLIANCE’s Senior Policy Officer Dr Hannah Tweed interviews Helen Goss from Long Covid Kids (LCK). Helen shares her own family experiences with Long Covid, outlines the support that LCK offer to children, young people and families living with Long Covid, and shares her hopes for how people living with Long Covid can be better supported moving forward.
ALLIANCE Live interview with Chief Nursing Officer, Professor Alex McMahon
Professor Alex McMahon speaks in-depth about the role he stepped into at the beginning of this year. In this ALLIANCE Live interview, he discusses his aims to improve the recruitment and retention of staff under his remit, the many benefits of working as a nurse in the NHS and the optimism he has in the support offered to staff as we come through covid.
Eczema Outreach Support self management animated resource
We spoke with Cheryll, Senior Family Support Worker and Silvia, a Youth Panel member at Eczema Outreach Support about their new animated resource. The animation, Eczema – More than itchy skin, aims to help young people with eczema feel more supported and understood at secondary school. The animation was created with funding from the Self Management Fund.

Discover Digital: Change Grow Live engagement
Discover Digital has funded seven projects to engage seldom heard communities to support improved digital health and care. We are excited to share some insights from Change Grow Live: Forth Valley Recovery Service who engaged with people recovering from substance use.
