Launch of formal consultation on the Data Strategy for Health and Social Care

As part of the refreshed Digital Health and Care Strategy, the Directorate has committed to publishing Scotland’s first ever Data Strategy.
The Digital Health and Care directorate have, and continue to, undertake a broad range of engagement with stakeholders and the public to support the development the Data Strategy. You can a summary of the findings to date here (this link will take you away from our website).
A key part of the engagement is to undertake a formal public consultation. The formal consultation has been launched, which can be accessed here (this link will take you away from our website).
The consultation will run from Monday the 16th of May until 5pm on Friday the 12th of August.
Throughout the period the consultation is open the Digital Health and Care directorate will continue to run bespoke engagements with health and care professionals, third sector advocacy groups and the public.
