Watch the Integration Support team's latest video highlighting the crucial role of health and social care integration across Scotland.
The ALLIANCE’s Integration Support team has published an informative video that explores the role of health and social care integration in Scotland.
By using footage representative of the whole of Scotland, this video is aimed at a general audience and spotlights the benefits of integration for individuals and communities across the country, whilst highlighting the need for integrated services to ensure the highest quality person-centred care and support.
As the most significant change to Scotland’s health and social care services since the creation of the NHS, health and social care integration is playing a vital role in the progression of Scotland’s national health and wellbeing outcomes and objectives. In line with this, the video includes footage from our recent Impact Visit films with members NKS and Macaulay College, showcasing integrated ways of working in practice.
To find out more about the benefits that health and social care integration is having across Scotland, read the Integration Support team’s review of Integration Authority strategic priorities and our Connected Communities case studies series, which highlights how third sector organisations are supporting health and social care integration in their communities. If you have any questions about this work, you can also get in touch with the Integration Support team by emailing integration@alliance-scotland.org.uk.
