Report: Prevention Under Pressure

This report presents findings from engagement with Community-led Health Organisations (CHOs) across Scotland at a critical time.

Participants reported unprecedented demand, increasing complexity, and crisis-level need alongside shrinking resources. Many are filling gaps left by statutory services while facing exclusion from key decision-making processes.

Several organisations warned they are nearing a financial cliff edge, with reserves being used to sustain services. Some have already closed, and without urgent action more services and support may be lost.

This report was jointly written by a collaboration of community health capacity building and support agencies, including:
