The statutory consumer body representing consumers in the postal sector in Scotland want to hear views about this scheme.
Consumer Scotland are inviting people and organisations to take part in a workshop exploring the pilot of the Address and Collect scheme — an initiative that provides individuals without a stable address the option to use a fixed-point proxy address to receive and collect post.
This workshop will focus on how the scheme may benefit a range of communities. Consumer Scotland are particularly interested in hearing from individuals, organisations, and advocates in the Scottish context, working with:
- Homeless people
- Gypsy, Roma, and Traveller communities
- Victim/survivors of domestic abuse
- LGBTQIA+ people
- Disabled people
- People in rural and remote areas
The session will include a short overview of the pilot, followed by interactive activities designed to gather qualitative evidence on how the scheme could support access to services, improve privacy and dignity, and reduce barriers caused by address insecurity.
This will be an interactive discussion with optional online activities.
If you or someone in your organisation would like to attend, please email Rianna Price of Consumer Scotland at Rianna.Price@consumer.scot by Friday 14 November 2025.
