The ALLIANCE highlights key concerns for older people in our response to the Health and Social Care Strategy for Older People.
The ALLIANCE has responded to the Scottish Government’s call for views on the Health and Social Care Strategy for Older People (this link will take you away from our website).
Our response highlights the importance of community health and social care support, drawing on people’s lived experience, and the need for better information provision to ensure that older people have equitable access to care and support.
We highlight evidence from older contributors to My Support My Choice: people’s experiences of Self-directed Support in Scotland, our work on 20-minute neighbourhoods, and key experiences of primary care during the pandemic (including the role of Community Links Practitioners).
