The Scottish Government invites bids from voluntary organisations for statistical or analytical skills on short projects.
The Scottish Government has launched the 2022 Analytical Exchange Programme. This invites bids from voluntary organisations in Scotland for very short sharp projects (anything from an afternoon up to 10 person days) where statistical or analytical skills could make a difference to your organisation.
Individuals or small groups of analysts (one or two people) would act as an analytical consultancy to solve problems in your organisation and would be delivered at no cost to you.
This scheme has run each year since 2012. In total analysts have supported over 230 projects providing a total of over 900 days of support to third sector organisations. Most placements were about how to:
- measure, monitor and evaluate success
- bring together evidence around a subject
- manage and make sense of data you collect
- visualise data to communicate messages clearly
- structure a significant problem.
If this is something that you think your organisations could benefit from, you can send a completed application form to chiefstatistician@gov.scot. The deadline for applications if Friday 4 March 2022.
Find out more and access the application form (this link will take you away from our website).
