The consultation on proposals to improve people's experiences of living with long term illness, dying and bereavement runs until 16 July.

The Scottish Partnership for Palliative Care (SPPC) are currently consulting on their “Every Story’s Ending” draft position paper. This sets out the major issues affecting care and support of people living with serious illness, dying and bereavement in Scotland, and outlines a practical agenda for change over the coming years.

It has been developed in collaboration with key stakeholders including hospice and hospital workers, communities, those with service planning responsibilities, professional bodies and academics, and the process is supported by the Scottish Government.

The consultation is open until the 16th of July. SPPC welcome comments on the document as a whole, or for specific sections. You can find the document and how to respond here (this link will take you away from our website.)
