AbilityNet has partnered with BT to provide free tablets to those in need of a device.

AbilityNet is a UK-wide charity that supports older adults and disabled people with digital skills and technology support.

Tablets are available for adults over 55 and disabled people over 18 who have an outdated device or do not have a device. If you live in the following areas in Scotland and meet the criteria, you can apply for a free tablet.

  • Inverness
  • Ayr, Irvine and Kilmarnock
  • North Glasgow and Stirling

More information and apply here.

AbilityNet also provides free individual and group training sessions on digital skills for people living in a 20-mile radius of these areas, information here.

Organisations can support AbilityNet to distribute the devices and connect people to digital skills support. So, if your organisation works with those who are eligible, get in touch at digitalskills@abilitynet.org.uk.
