Chief Executive of the Care Inspectorate discusses the organisation's support of providers during COVID-19 and the future of social care.

The ALLIANCE welcomed Peter MacLeod, Chief Executive of the Care Inspectorate at Scottish Government to be its latest guest on an ALLIANCE Live interview.

During the conversation, Peter provides an overview of how the Care Inspectorate has responded to COVID-19 in support of the providers and carers that they regulate as well as take stock of how it has changed their approach to inspection. The interview also touches upon the Review of Adult Social Care and Peter shares his opinion on what he would like to see from its recommendations. As the interview moves to looking ahead, Peter also gives some insight into what he believes the future has in store for social care in Scotland.
