These stories illustrate how system-minded, compassionate leadership is influencing transformation across health and social care in Scotland

The University of the West of Scotland and the Internaitonal Foundation for Integrated Care (IFIC) in Scotland have published The Difference We Make, an anthology report capturing the real-world impact of professionals across Scotland who have completed the MSc Leading People Centred Integrated Care programme at the University of the West of Scotland. These stories illustrate how system-minded, compassionate leadership is influencing transformation across the health and social care sector in Scotland – from service redesign and workforce development to improved collaboration and better outcomes for communities.

This anthology demonstrates how accredited learning can build leadership capacity and directly support strategic priorities such as prevention, shifting the balance of care, improving flow, and fostering cultures of collaboration.
