NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is funding 56 candidates from across Health, Housing and Social Care to undertake the Award.

Who can apply

The PDA is for people who are new to or have an interest in technology enabled care, or those who want to develop and advance their knowledge, skills, and abilities in this ever-changing field of practice.

This award contributes to the progression of candidates in their Continued Professional Development in the field of Digital Health and Care. Candidates may use this award to show future or current employers’ evidence of their achievements and to enable them to progress in their careers.

Funding

Funding is available to candidates who agree to complete the – Working with Technology Enabled Care – unit, and the – Using Digital Technology to Support People in Health, Housing and Care unit.

NES is not currently offering funding for any of the other units.

Application process

Application forms must be returned to nes.dew@nhs.scot by 5pm on Monday 4 April 2022 and successful candidates will be notified by Monday 25 April 2022 which cohort and virtual induction date they have been allocated.
