For the first time, the Scottish Ethnic Minority Talent Summit & Festival 2026 (SEMFEST26) is localising across Scotland, bringing the summit experience to Aberdeen, Glasgow, Fife, and Edinburgh. Each location addresses unique regional disruptions while contributing to a unified national conversation.

This year SEMFEST26 is bringing together Scotland’s most powerful ethnic minority voices leaders, innovators, policymakers, and changemakers, across 5 days of action. The Energy Summit – Aberdeen, October 25 2026

Hosted in partnership with the University of Aberdeen, this edition leads the summit series with a focus on the energy sector, sustainability, and diverse talent in the North East.

Hosted at Elphinstone Hall, this event will showcase the contributions of minority ethnic professionals in Scotland’s burgeoning renewable energy sector and explore the strategic focus on ESG and the North East’s role in the global energy shift and green tech revolution.

Digital Health Divides: Technology & Trust – Glasgow, October 26 2026

In partnership with the Global Health and Environment Interdisciplinary Research Theme (GHE IRT) at the University of Glasgow, this edition spotlights health equity, environmental justice, and diverse talent.

Discussions will unpack Scotland’s digital health divides, exploring how technology, trust, and minority communities intersect as Scotland digitises its health and social care systems.

Housing & Social Care – Fife, October 27 2026

In partnership with Fife College and Kingdom Group, the Fife Edition focuses on sectoral innovation in Housing and Social Care addressing Scotland’s most critical talent gaps in Tayside.

This event will feature deep-dives into Digital Health transformation, Housing innovation, and Social Care talent pipelines across Fife.

The Main Summit – Edinburgh, October 29 2026

The national convergence point for policy, finance, and global tech. Edinburgh hosts our grand finale, bringing together voices from Scotland’s tech heartland.

This event will feature the Summit’s Awards & Festival, high-level dialogues with government bodies and global financial titans on systemic DE&I evolution, and initiate scale connections at the national convergence point for finance and global tech.
