A new report has been published by the ALLIANCE, sharing findings about the impact of the pandemic on third sector rehabilitation services.

The ALLIANCE recently shared a self assessment tool with third sector rehabilitation services in Scotland to gather information about the challenges and successes of these organisations throughout the pandemic.

Focussing on the time period before March 2020, the year from March 2020 – March 2021 and the future, the tool asked questions about the delivery of their services during the different time frames and aimed to gather information about how services had adapted and the support needed to move every service towards delivering the ‘Principles of good rehabilitation,’ outlined in the report.

The responses from the organisations who participated were analysed by a small team within the ALLIANCE and a report was compiled sharing the broad themes and findings.
Across all of the responses, strong themes emerged around access, support and services, health and wellbeing impact, collaboration, staff and funding, showing the immense impact the pandemic has had on all of these areas.
